Published by the King Township Historical Society to acclaim on the 175th anniversary of the Township of King, The History of King Township: A Community Shaped by the Land is a definitive 476-page history of King Township from time immemorial to present day.
Authored by writer Ann Love and researcher Sharon Bentley, the book features sections from local historians, writers, personalities, and more, all whom have called King home through the years.
As the former editor of King Township's MOSAiC Magazine, I was asked to contribute a brief history of King's rich history on film - from classic TV shows to Academy Award-winning movies by today's acclaimed directors.
Along with other guest chapters, Action!: A Brief History of King on Film was selected for preservation in the King Township archives, joining hundreds of family histories, letters, photographs, and artifacts tracking the past of the township.
A big thank you to the King Township Historical Society for allowing me to be a part of this historic publication!
